The therapists of Novus Mindful Life Institute are not contracted with any insurance companies. This allows us to provide you with high-quality services tailored to your individual needs rather than based upon demands and restrictions set forth by the insurance company.
Health insurance plans vary considerably in their mental health coverage and benefits. We cannot guarantee payment of services as they are subject to the conditions, limitations, and exclusions of your policy. If insurance is an important issue, we recommend you contact your insurance provider to inquire about your specific plan’s out-of-network mental health benefits and limitations.
Generally speaking, many PPO and POS plans provide some coverage for services rendered by out-of-network providers, although reimbursement is often at a lower level than in-network providers. HMO plans typically will not provide reimbursement for providers outside of the HMO network. We are not Medicare providers, and our services are not eligible for reimbursement by Medicare.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for paying all fees at the time of service. As a courtesy, we can submit claims to your insurance plan directly if you have eligible out-of-network mental health coverage AND if the information you give us is accurate and complete. Please note that we will only submit claims to your primary insurance carrier for individual, couples, and group therapy. We can provide you with a superbill if you prefer to submit claims for reimbursement yourself OR if you need to submit claims to a secondary insurance carrier, Health/Flexible Savings Account, or other entity.
