Christian brings dual master’s degrees in psychology from Pepperdine University, both earned with honors, along with clinical experience across some of the most demanding settings in the field, such as crisis residential programs working with schizophrenia, acute suicidality, and self-harm presentations.
His clinical background spans individual therapy across a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and family systems work, as well as specialized experience facilitating group therapy for both men and women. His groups have covered anger management, boundaries, relationship dynamics, and attachment; areas where he brings both clinical precision and genuine therapeutic presence.
He is fluent in Spanish and has provided therapy to the Latinx community throughout his career, bringing cultural attunement and linguistic fluency to populations that are often underserved in mental health settings.
His approach is grounded in narrative therapy principles, with a particular focus on creating the conditions for genuine therapeutic engagement rather than scripted compliance; an instinct developed through years of work with high-acuity clients where conventional approaches fall short.
Following his time in residential settings, Christian has transitioned into private practice to build a dedicated caseload serving the Orange County community, with a focus on the Latinx population and the full range of presentations he has worked with throughout his career.
Beyond direct practice, Christian has delivered university-level lectures in psychology and brings a background in human resources that sharpens his ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics and high-stakes communication.

When Will I Get Better?
Our work together is structured around narrative therapy principles. Instead of following a rigid script, we work with you to understand the story the problem has been telling about your life, separate you from that problem, and strengthen a more hopeful, preferred story about who you are and what’s possible. Our approach focuses on creating the conditions for genuine engagement rather than scripted compliance—an instinct we’ve developed through years of working with high‑acuity clients when conventional approaches fall short.
What will therapy be like?
As your therapist, I will work collaboratively with you to understand what you’re going through and identify what will truly support your needs. By building a stable, trusting relationship and creating a safe, comfortable space, I will introduce tailored techniques and interventions to help you navigate your struggles and move toward the changes you’re hoping for.
How often should I attend Therapy?
In most cases, we’ll begin with weekly sessions so we can build momentum and a strong working relationship. Over time, we’ll check in together and adjust the frequency—sometimes increasing support when needed, and at other times reducing sessions as you feel more stable and confident between appointments.
