Long Beach, CA | February 10, 2018, Duane Osterlind and Danielle Osterlind, founders of Novus Mindful Life Institute Family Counseling and Recovery Center in Long Beach California, are honored to announce their sponsorship of The LGBTQ Center’s annual Black and White Ball Gala fundraiser.

2018 marks the 5th year the charity event hosted by the LGBTQ center will help raise funds which support the many programs and services offered at the Center.  

The Center is the largest publicly supported LGBTQ direct services organization in greater Long Beach supporting more than 25,000 clients per year with lifesaving programs and services including healthcare, social support, client advocacy, legal services, support groups, youth services, domestic violence services, employment referrals, and mental health counseling.  It also serves as a safe haven where people of all sexual orientations, genders, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic levels can receive free HIV information, testing and counseling.    

The mission of The Center is to engage, empower and advocate to achieve a more equitable society and foster and ever-improving quality of life for the LGBTQ community.
