Novus Mindful Life Hosts free Sex and Porn Addicts Anonymous (SPAA) Meetings for Men and Women

UPDATE: SPAA meetings are no longer hosted at Novus Mindful Life Institute. Please contact SPAA directly at http://spaa-recovery.org/  for updated location information.

Long Beach, CA | July 26, 2017 – Novus Mindful Life Institute Counseling and Recovery Center in Long Beach, California. Sex and Porn Addicts Anonymous (SPAA) are meetings for men and women whose lives have been affected by out of control sexual behavior or excessive pornography use. You can find a SPAA meeting here: http://spaa-recovery.org/

If you or someone you know has felt the effects of sexual or pornography addiction in your life, support is available by attending a free Sex and Pornography Addicts Anonymous (SPAA) group meeting. Anyone with a desire to stop acting out sexually or to stop viewing pornography is welcome to attend and can contact Novus for additional information.

By joining the SPAA fellowship, participants can attend meetings and receive support confidentially and anonymously.  Participants are invited to share their experience, strength and hope with each other in order to build a spiritual fellowship and help each other recover from addiction.  A connection to the fellowship and to each other can be created through sharing honestly, openly and willingly about your struggles and triumphs over sexual cravings.

The members of SPAA know what it’s like to be addicted to sex and pornography.  In the meetings, you will have an opportunity to hear members share their personal stories, which can help you admit if you have a problem.  The members who have come before willingly share their struggles and also pass on the message of recovery.

Please know that you are not alone.  Anyone who says they are, or suspects they may be, sex or a porn addict can attend this meeting.  There are many men and women who have been through similar situations who can be of support to you through this journey.  Hope and healing are possible.

The compassionate counselors at Novus currently offer expert sexual addiction treatment including individual counseling, couples counseling, group therapy, and intensive outpatient therapy.  Attending a SPAA meeting can be a helpful supplement to a comprehensive treatment program.
